Reasons my life is bittersweet at the moment

Alright, i haven't blogged in what seems like forever so I'll give a quick update about things you might've missed!
1). School has started, which isn't really something to brag about.
2). Two days before school started i went on a lake trip with my ward and got REALLY sunburned and is causing me to still peel skin everyday, all day. No bueno!
3). I also got a hair cut more like a trim but just my hair is shorter along with my bangs!
4). I applied for the position of Student Life Editor for yearbook at highland. (and i got it!!!)
5). I got asked to homecoming from my best guy friend EVER!!(:
6).I got surgery on my gums and had a titanium screw implanted :/
Anyways, I bet you're just DYING to know every detail about each 6 points?! I knew it so i'll try to briefly
break it down. So for number one, yeah it's like the 3rd week into school and it's definitely better than when I first started. It was SOOOOOO hard not seeing any of my friends or my mom(since she works at mountain view). But I now have friends in all of my classes and things have totally progressively gotten better! Number two, yeah I can't really get into that as much. Basically my ward and I went to the lake and i decided to not where sunscreen and now i have this peeling condition where i peel, EVERYWHERE!! luckily there's a Aloe Vera  plant in my backyard so most of the dead skin has healed and not has been as dramatic as when it first was. Number three just sucks. The hair stylist decided that she knows what i want better than me and cut me an inch off and gave me full bangs! I finally learned how to hairspray it into place so it looks like side bangs but it was a complete bummer on the first day of school. Number four is just so so so so so exciting!! I  really am into yearbook and i want to be Editor In Chief my senior year so it was VERY crucial to get a editor position my junior year so the adviser can see m work ethic and how well i do my tasks and will want me. So in celebration we had Costa Vida for dinners!! YUM YUM!!  Number five luckily i have pictures for. SO it's sorta a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONNNNGGGG story hahaha. So, saturday night my best guy friend, that i love so much, and me were going to the stake dance near my house and party rock all night! I was so happy until he called me saying he couldn't be out so late considering he literally just got his license the day earlier. I was sad but said it was alright that i understood and maybe another time. With that i went to the dance and had the best time! While at the dance, i recieved a phone call from my bestest girlfriend ordering me to go outside the church building. I was like wait what?!?! Abbeney lived 20 minutes from here...what is she talking about?!?! so i went outside to see her and 4 of my other mountain view bestiees!! i was so so  so thrilled and peachy to just see them. J(best guy friend) was also there and had drove them. I was so happy to see them and appalled they even came!! WIth that i invited them to my house to chill out before they had to head home. When we got inside of my house there was a trail of glowsticks leading upstairs into my room. I followed the trail to see the words HOMECOMING? made up of glowsticks along with my room covered with them. I just than realized that J( my best guy friend) had just asked me to homecoming!!

i marched downstairs and was so unbelievably grateful for such great friends like them!!
they literally turn my day upside down and twist it back around and make it a thousand times better than it ever was!!

NOW the gross one. Number six i recently(today) just had done. What  the do is take this titanium anchorage device and screw it into my gums and than put wire "rubberbands" on. So today i had my entire mouth numbed up, along with my upper gums and had to sit in this chair for half and hour listening to my IPOD waiting for the orthodontists to be done with the traumatizing event. On top of the hinges, the gave me actual rubber bands to use 24/7 to speed up the process. Basically I'm in so much pain, it's ridiculous.

So you see that little golden "tack" you might call it, that's the TAD screw, and the thing it's "tacked" to is the gum, which is the same exact thing except my TAD is purple, after my boy Justin Bieber(: so as you can imagine this really sucks. And you're right, it completely does at this point. Looks like i'll be taking lots of iboprohen tonight. :/

Well, it felt spectacular to be blogging again after the insane craziness of school is over and i will be posting a pretty good up-to-date blog post frequently.

Owloholic Alert

Alright, it appears that I have a confession to make. NO I'm not some secret agent working for the CIA even though that would be cool but I am an OWLOHOLIC!! (: Now the question you probably for yourself is what is an "owloholic"?? Well, I'm so pleased to tell you that an "owloholic" is someone who is obsessed with Owl City. YUP i looked it up! It turns out that owloholic is the next Bieber fever....which i already have;) Up till recently I didn't really care for Owl City. Their #1 hit Fireflies was pretty huge but after that Owl City went back into the shadows that they emerged from. Well, if it weren't for my friend J who begged me to come with him to see the band in concert in California i probably wouldn't have heard any of their AMAZING songs.

So they have about four albums all  of which i have listened to in the past week and approve of. Than they have just 3 or 4 single songs that aren't on any albums but are just themselves all on their own and they happen to be my absolute favorites!

My personal top album right now is All Things Bright and Beautiful(: doesn't it just sound like a winner?
My top five favorite songs on that album would have to be:
                                              1. Galaxies
2. Dreams Don't Turn to Dust
3. Hospital Flowers
4.Alligator Sky
5. Deer in the Headlights

They're pretty fabbuu!

Some of my other favorite songs that aren't on that album that i HIGHLY suggested listening to is:
Lonely Lullaby, On the Wing, The Saltwater Room, the Bird and the Worm, Hot Air Balloon, Fuzzy Blue Lights, and lastly a grrrrrrrrrrrreatt summer song Sunburn.

Owl City has been said to have the same sound in every album. I'm not going to disagree but I have to say that in each album there is just the perfect combination of love songs, happy joyful songs, and the sorta depressing ones but they do not all sound alike; in each album the message of dreaming is conveyed. As if the moral of Owl City is an endorsement of sweet dreaming(: isn't that something special to think about?

Keys Please??

It's every teenager's dream to turn 16 and get their license. I'm not gonna lie I imagined turning 16 and having a brand new car and being so popular and just having it all! When i turned 16 I didn't feel that much different. AND I definitely didn't get my license or a brand new car. Why this is, i have no idea! Okay, okay the whole brand new car thing I can do without, but not having my license?? What is this?! It's not like I'm a horrible driver. But when i say horrible i mean i no longer side wipe cars while lane changing, taking two parking spaces for my suburban, or even get in an almost near-death accident!! I've come a long ways from when i first started about 8 months ago. The reason why i just haven't gone down to the DMV is mainly because i have to have the OK from my mother, and as you can see that hasn't happened yet. =( If i had my license i could just go wherever i needed without having to catch a ride or get my parents to drive me. I'd just get in the car, go to my friends house or the ice cream shoppe around the corner without having to wait till it's a good time for my driver. Having a license is just all around easier for everybody. Mother deary, please let me drive.

let's go D-Backs

I love going to the Diamond Backs game. It's always so much fun no matter if the game was slow or not! And i love going to the Diamond Backs game with a friend. It just makes the whole experience more enjoyable and entertaining to be able to laugh about something that was said or happened during the trip, game, or car ride home. Each time i go to a game i try my best to be ENTHUSIASTIC and get on the huge jumbo-tron! Last game i went with my family and had no posters, flashy high-lighter clothing or anything that made our row astand out. Well the last 10 minutes i was able to get me family on the screen with my crazy insane dance moves! Hahahaha. This time around i decided to make this a little easier on my part. I decided to make posters!! And not just some "GO D-BACKS!!" or "WIN IT FOR DREW" signs, but some gnarely, tubular, stellar ones that was sure to get me on the screen!

Like for example this sign right here was especially made for my favorite player Justin Upton. If you haven't heard of him, LOOK him up! This guy is only like 28 years old and already has such a reputation. Infact, in Chase Field he has his own section to sit in called "uptoWn" hahah get it?? The reason for naming it is because that's mostly where his hits fly to during the game. Actually during the game he had even made 3 home-runs!! Incredible this guy!

That's me and my wonderfully sweet best friend Shanell Davidson and me holding up our posters we had made in the car ride over.

All I'm saying is that it's nice to have someone special there with you to enjoy the experience with =) And i'm so glad that i had such an awesome girl as to Shanell to come with me.

Well, unlike some of you older folks out there in the world but I'm a teenager! a teenager who takes millions upon millions a photos of myself every second. Well, being a teenager with no job which than equals no money, i have very limited ways to make my self-portraits absolute masterpieces!! one of those ways in by PicniK. For those who don't know picnik is a mini photoshop that just lets you make your wonderful pictures to museum worthy art. For an example here's a picture i personally took into picnik

girls just wanna have fun

Why is it that parents don't understand how a 16 year old just wants to go out and hang out with their friends? Why is it that parents these days have a closed view perception about their own kids? When the month of May came around and i could feel the warm, summer air there was nothing more that i wanted at that moment was to get the repetitive finals/essays out of the way and just head to the beach; or in my case my friends house. Well when school kissed goodbye, almost every weekend I had plans that involved parties, swimming, and driving around town. In fact some of my newest and best-est friends I have right now is because i met them this summer. Like when I went to Girls Camp I met Shanell Davidson.
Shanell is such a go-getter, which is alot like myself. Another accessory about her is that she LOVES to cook. She made me some mint chocolate chip cupcakes with mint green frosting for when i injured my toe last Sunday and holy cow they were amazing!! She dreams of being a pastry chef, were she can make her famous devils cupcakes:) The whole point of me bringing this up is that i want to hang out with her at least twice a week. As a teenager, sitting at home doing nothing for hours or ever worse days at a time is like seeing a small glimpse of what prison is like.  All I'm saying is that summer is the only time to just run around, act crazy, dance your booty off, have food fights, become nocturnal for a while before all the seriousness of homework and junior year comes in. I just want to have as much fun, as much i can have it.

sunnyseason affair

Has anyone ever watched the ultimate summer crush movie and thought to yourself...what a perfect love story. She moves to that small town for the summer, meets the most charming guy there and instantly BOOM!! They're in love. Happily ever after. But that's not at all how i went about my summers' romance. It was more of a accident really. How we met wasn't cause i moved near him but more of moved away from him; to the big city of Gilbert, Arizona. Another was that i already knew him. A friend of a friend, so to speak; and was in a relationship at the time too. Well like all long-term relationships they fade away like the nail polish on your fingertips. How we met too wasn't at some fairy-tale ball, at a rodeo, not even a walk -by at some festival. It was at the most unlikely of places. Facebook. He had sent me a message on accident meaning for it to be delivered to his ex-girlfriend, who had made him break-up with him just a little over a week beforehand. While i replied back he sent the "oops!! sorry wrong person" message; relieving me of any contact. But to my surprise he messaged me back asking how i was doing and what was up. By now you may already sense the foreshadowing that's leading up to the exchanging of phone numbers. You can also tell what's about to happen next. My perfect BOOM! He likes me and I feel the same about him. Finally my summer love! Or is it my summer love? Could this be just a fling? Is it possible that just like the seasonal temperature, he'll also change as well? Just like the song "Something" by The Beatles,..."will his love grow? I don't know, I don't know."
